T.R. and FOREIGN STUDENT APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Applications are made online. 

Make your online application between the Application Dates specified in the Academic Calendar; //enstitu.hacettepe.edu.tr/aday.jsp. 

2. After completing your online application; 

- You will receive a printout of the Candidate Registration and Exam Entrance Form and 

- You are required to be present at the exam site on the exam day and time of the Major / Department you have applied for with all the documents you have uploaded to the system during the application. 

In case of incomplete or incorrect entry into the system (academic grade point average, foreign language grade or errors in document uploads, etc.), candidates will not be admitted to the general success evaluation exam, and even if they are admitted, their exams will be deemed invalid in accordance with the provision of "the records of those who apply based on false statements and / or false-falsified documents are canceled as of the date of enrollment in the program" (Article 9 of the Graduate Regulation).

1. Candidates who are successful in the exam must come to the Graduate School in person with the requested documents between the dates specified in the Academic Calendar for Final Registration. 

2. The documents uploaded to the system must be legible, understandable and complete. If it is determined that the information entered into the system during the application is contrary to the truth, misrepresentation, or application with missing documents, the candidate will not be registered, and the registration of those who have already been registered will be canceled. 

Required Documents 

Candidate Registration and Exam Entry Form 
After the online application, the form generated by the system will be printed out by the candidate and signed by the candidate. 

Diploma or Temporary Graduation Certificate 
Bachelor's degree for Master's degree application; Bachelor's and Master's degree diplomas for Proficiency in Art/Doctorate application 

Transcript 
One (1) undergraduate transcript showing the graduation grade point average for master's degree application, 

One (1) undergraduate and one (1) graduate transcript showing the graduation grade point average for Proficiency in Art/PhD application 
a. For transcripts, the original document will be taken, photocopies will not be accepted.

b. Applications are accepted according to the 100-grade system. 

c. If there is a 100-grade equivalent in the transcript, this grade must be declared.

d. If the transcript is according to the 4th grade system, use the YÖK grade conversion table to convert it to the 100 grade system.

Copy of Passport for international candidate 

Passport size photo 

Foreign Language Certificate (for programs requiring foreign language score) 

The validity period of the scores obtained from YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL is 5 years. Below are the minimum scores you need to obtain from these exams:

TÖMER Certificate for international applicants 
For both Master's and Proficiency in Art/Doctorate levels, the minimum score that international candidates must obtain from TÖMER Turkish Exam is 70.

ALES 
There is no ALES requirement. 

Letter of Reference 
A letter of reference is not required.
